Plus1 - Never ride alone
Created by two local riders, for anyone who'd rather not ride alone.
Mountain biking is better with company. But joining a club can feel like a big step — especially if you're new to the area, new to riding, or just want a relaxed lap without signing up for anything.
Plus1 is our answer to that. It's a ride-share app built specifically for the MTB community. The idea is simple: if you're heading out and you're happy to have company and don't want to ride alone, share your ride on the app. If someone wants to join, they can.
What can it do?

Post a ride with the trail, date, time, vibe (Chill / Club / Casual / Performance), skill level (Beginner → Expert) and capacity

Add a photo, drop a pin on the map, or share a what3words address

Why did we build it?
We're two local riders, and we made Plus1 because we wanted an easier way to ride with other people in the Forest without the formality of a club. It's not a business — it's just something we made for the community we ride in.
The Forest of Dean has one of the friendliest riding scenes anywhere. Spend five minutes at the cycle centre, and you'll see it. Plus1 just makes it a bit easier to tap into: turn a solo ride into a shared one, help a newcomer find their feet, or simply not ride alone on a quiet weekday.
