Why we made it

Phone signal in the forest is patchy at best, and it's always when you want to check something that you've got no bars. So we built FoD Pocket Trails — a free, lightweight app that lives on your phone and works completely offline. Load it once at home or over the café wifi, and it's there whenever you need it.
 

What's in it

• 🧭 Ride Now — tell it the conditions and how long you've got, and it suggests what to ride. Shows how much daylight's left in the forest too.

• 🚵 Every official trail — Old Bob's, Verderers, Freeminers and the Family Trail, with grades, distances, times, features and local tips.

• ⬇️ GPX routes — download the Verderers, Freeminers and Family Trail into Trailforks, Komoot or your Garmin for turn-by-turn navigation.

• 📹 Downhill tracks — all 15 runs, colour-graded, each with a POV video link so you can see the lines first.

• 📍 Show my location — one tap gives your exact coordinates to read to 999 or text to a mate. Works fully offline.

• 📋 And more — on-site info, a pre-ride checklist, a trail-speak glossary, and emergency numbers with first-aid basics.

All of it works offline once installed.

One important note

FoD Pocket Trails is a reference guide — it doesn't show your live position on a map, and it's not a substitute for checking the live trail status before you ride. For live navigation, load the GPX routes into a dedicated app like Trailforks. Think of it as trail knowledge in your pocket, not a sat nav.
