Another comprehensive trail update from our trail pixie friends at the Dean Trail Volunteers
GBU has had a major overhaul and requires a period of settling to allow the new and improved features to harden off. This process is dependent on the weather as it requires rain and sunshine to play their part. We are also installing new signage and fencing and after testing last week we have had to make a few modifications. Once everything is done and settled it has to go through a process of testing and safety approval.
So with all this in mind GBU will probably not be open for a couple more weeks but we will try and keep everyone up to date with progress, so watch this space đ
Trails closed:
GBU, the advanced skills area, the last descent of the blue Verderers XC trail and the last section of the red Freeminers XC trail. All of these closures are to allow for upgrades and essential maintenance. Diversions are in place.
Trails reopened:
The improved Corkscrew downhill trail is open again. Enjoy! đ
