Two days. Loads of bikes. Great food. Bike demos. Competitions. Music. Kids’ activities. Golden Tickets. And quite possibly more excuses to ride your bike than you actually need.

FOD Fest is our celebration of all things mountain biking at the Forest of Dean Cycle Centre and everyone is welcome.

Whether you’re a seasoned trail rider, just getting into mountain biking, here with the kids, or simply fancy soaking up the atmosphere, come and join us for a weekend celebrating the Forest, the trails and the people who make mountain biking so much fun.

FOD Fest itself is FREE to attend. Some activities have a small charge, with fundraising helping support Dean Trail Volunteers (DTV) and Great Western Air Ambulance Charity.

WHAT IS FOD FEST?

FOD Fest is our annual Forest of Dean mountain bike festival, bringing riders, families, bike brands, suppliers and the wider mountain biking community together for a weekend of riding, activities, food and fun.

We’re inviting some of the biggest and best names in mountain biking to the Forest, alongside competitions, bike demonstrations, family activities, live entertainment and plenty of opportunities to get involved.

There isn’t one particular type of person FOD Fest is for.

It’s for the people who want to spend all weekend riding.It’s for the ones who want to try a new bike.It’s for the kids who want to hunt for treasure.It’s for the bike geeks who want to talk suspension kinematics over a coffee.And it’s for anyone who thinks a weekend in the Forest sounds like a very good idea.
