Launchpad update

⚠Launchpad update from Forestry England and Dean Trail Volunteers ⚠

Unfortunately Launchpad’s newly refurbished surface has had significant rain damage over the last couple of weeks and more work is needed to fix this damage. Our contractors cannot start this work until the ground has dried out, so we are looking at a considerable delay to the reopening of this trail.

We are just as frustrated as you will be, as a lot of time, money and effort has gone into the rebuild of Launchpad. The weather simply hasn’t been on our side.

Please don’t be tempted to ride Launchpad whilst it remains closed. Doing so will further damage the trail surface.

Work is still ongoing on Countdown and the Verderers, although we hope to have these open as soon as possible.

We are really proud of our trail network at Cannop Cycle Centre, and the high numbers of visitors we receive every week is proof of how much love there is for the trails. We will only reopen a trail when we are happy that the work has been completed and it is safe to ride.
